SAP Basis Administration Batch Control Job Control A large proportion of batch jobs run at night, while IT systems are available for dialog and online applications during the day. Meanwhile, web applications demand computer capacity around the clock. Even dialog systems are no longer in operation only from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., but between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. or longer. The time window for administration tasks is increasingly shifting toward transaction processing. This leaves less and less time for mission-critical batches, which can lead to disruptions and terminations. Whereas batch processing used to be a mainframe domain, companies today usually have to control background processing in heterogeneous operating system environments and client-server applications. For this reason, cross-platform, integration-capable job schedulers that can respond to unplanned events are in demand.
If a company chooses to tackle the area of e-learning itself and also to create the content for it itself, there is a certain challenge. The most obvious point here is that the above-mentioned initial effort is borne by the company. This means that employees spend their time creating videos, preparing presentations and/or creating questionnaires. This not to be underestimated effort must of course be borne by the company initially. On the other hand, a self-created e-learning offer offers the possibility to design it completely by itself and tailor it to the company's own needs. In addition, a company can decide whether it will use the e-learning offer itself only for its own employees (for internal training purposes) or whether it will also present the offer externally. This can be used, for example, for advertising purposes, as a know-how presentation or as a further source of income. Use the external sources: This is a very pleasant way for the company to improve the internal processes through ELearning. By acquiring external e-learning content, the company can purchase valuable know-how for comparatively low money. This know-how is in most cases already well prepared, that this can only be passed on to the employees and they can then independently acquire new knowledge or consolidate already known topics.

SAP Basis Support ensures secure operation of the SAP system landscape. For proper operation of the SAP system, the database and operating systems must be checked on a daily basis.
Automation of processes In an IDM, IT business processes, creating, modifying and deleting a user are defined centrally by means of a unique set of rules. All the necessary steps are then completed using automated workflows. User administration no longer has to be administered separately for each system, but only in a single point of administration. Data Consistency Employee data is created only once in a leading system in an IDM architecture. All attached systems use this data in their user management on demand. In a change of department or a new activity, permissions are automatically adjusted. Security and Documentation In a centralised user administration, users can be locked down efficiently on all systems or access rights can be changed. The connection to the personnel process automatically initiates the change process as soon as the master record is adjusted in the Human Resources Department. Documentation solutions can also be used to archive all processes without any gaps. This creates transparency which also facilitates the detection of a functioning and secure authorisation concept during audit tests. When implementing an IDM and also in the day-to-day operation of an IDM, there are certain things that should be taken into account when applying. I have summarised the most important points in the form of a checklist.

SAP Basis refers to the administration of SAP system that includes activities like installation and configuration, load balancing, and performance of SAP applications running on Java stack and SAP ABAP.
