Map roles through organisational management
Roles are assigned according to the function of employees in the company and their validity is limited depending on the task. Removing role assignments manually in user master kits is very tedious. We'll show you how it's easier. Over time, users of your SAP system have accumulated many roles in the user master set. These roles have different validity periods. Some roles have already expired, and other roles may be assigned multiple times, because a user might perform multiple roles in the organisation, some of which have the same roles. Now you are looking for an easy way to delete role assignments that have expired or to remove multiple role assignments.
The SAP CO module is the module for classic controlling in a company. Part (the responsible area) of it is the control and analysis of costs. This also includes the control of the cost types and the cost rates that are incurred and posted in the company. Controlling then usually reports directly to the company management. It is supported by the tools from the SAP CO module, which can provide comprehensive evaluations and analyses. SAP CO can be subdivided into several further subareas. These include, for example, CO-PC (Product Cost Accounting), CO-PA (Profitability Analysis) or PCA (Profit Center Accounting).

Without generic table logging, certain changes in the system are not traceable. Learn how to turn on table logging in the system for a large set of tables. The SAP system writes change documents for most changes - but not all. Specifically, changes to tables in which the customising is performed are not recorded in the modification documents. This may lead to a lack of comprehensibility of changes. Avoid this by basically enabling table logging and then setting logging for specific additional tables. You should always enable table logging for all clients. However, during a release upgrade it may be necessary to temporarily disable table logging.
Reference users are not intended to access an SAP system, but are used for authorisation administration and therefore always have a disabled password. Reference users inherit the permissions assigned to them to the users with whom the reference user is registered. For this purpose, the user buffer of the reference user is also created at login and these entries are also checked during permission checks of the inheriting user.
"Shortcut for SAP systems" is a tool that enables the assignment of authorizations even if the IdM system fails.
If you want to know more about SAP authorizations, visit the website www.sap-corner.de.
It contains only the most important authorization objects for each subject area.
A simple example of how to play this behaviour without an upgrade scenario is changing the role menu.
