Security within the development system
First, create an overview of the customising tables currently available in your system. To do this, open the DD02L table and search for tables that start with Y, Z or your specific customer name space. Tables with delivery class C (such as customising, found in column A) are the relevant tables in this context. The descriptive texts to the tables can be found in the table DD02T.

With the introduction of security policy, it is now possible to define your own security policy for System or Service users. This way you can ensure that backward-compatible passwords are still used for these users. This eliminates the reason that password rules were not valid for System/Service type users; Therefore, the rules for the content of passwords now apply to users of these types. Password change rules are still not valid for System or Service type users. If you are using security policy in your system, you can use the RSUSR_SECPOL_USAGE report to get an overview of how security policy is assigned to users. This report can be found in the User Information System (transaction SUIM). In addition, the user information system reports have added selected security policies to the user selection. This change was provided through a support package; For details, see SAP Note 1611173.
Which challenges cannot be solved with authorization tools alone?
Once you have defined your criteria for executing the report, you can create different variants for the report and schedule corresponding jobs to automatically lock down or invalidate the inactive users. If you want to start the report in a system that is connected to a Central User Management, you should consider the following points: You can only set local user locks. You can set the validity period only if the maintenance is set to Local in the settings of the Central User Management (this setting is set in the SCUM transaction).

On the one hand, sensitive company data must not fall into the wrong hands, but on the other hand, they also form an important basis for decisions and strategic company directions. Avoid a scenario of accidentally accessible data or incomplete and thus unusable reports by implementing your SAP BW authorizations properly.

Authorizations can also be assigned via "Shortcut for SAP systems".

If you want to know more about SAP authorizations, visit the website www.sap-corner.de.

Note, however, that they CORRECTLY authorize S_PROGNAM before doing so, otherwise NOBODY except emergency users will be able to start any report or report transaction after the SACF scenario is activated.

The profile data will not be added to the bill of materials at the time of the roll recording but only when the transport order is released.
