Set up permission to access Web Dynpro applications using S_START
The RESPAREA field has a maintenance dialogue that allows you to enter areas of responsibility. The care dialogue is called as a building block and provides different tabs for input depending on the authorization object. Now, if you declare the RESPAREA field to be the organisation level, you must first set the display of the tabs for input in customising. To do this, you must add an entry to the KBEROBJ table that is independent of the client by using the SE16 transaction. In this entry, leave the first OBJECT field blank. The CURRENTOBJ field must be maintained because it defines the tab that will be displayed when the maintenance is called, i.e. the Default tab. If this field is blank, no startup image can be found and errors occur. The following fields determine the contents of the various tabs and should therefore also be maintained so that you can use RESPAREA as an organisational level. These are the OBJECT1 to OBJECT7 fields for the first to the seventh tab. In these seven fields, you define what values you can enter on the tabs.
In principle, all eligibility fields can be upgraded to the organisational level; there are, however, technical exceptions and fields where this is not useful. Technically, the fields that are in the context of testing the startup capability of an application are excluded, i.e. the fields of the S_TCODE, S_START, S_USER_STA, S_SERVICE, S_RFC, S_PROGRAM and S_USER_VAL authorization objects. In addition, you cannot elevate the ACTVT field to the organisation level. Only the fields that can be assigned a value range within a role are meaningful. This must of course be considered across the board for the authorisation concept. For example, fields that have more than one meaning, such as the Authorisation Group (BEGRU), are not suitable for material management. The PFCG_ORGFIELD_CREATE report allows you to define a permission field as an organisation level. The report enters the field in the USORG table, changes the permission proposal values to that field, and performs all the roles that have a shape in the field.

You can do without taking obsolete profile data into account by adding the correction from SAP Note 1819126 and then setting the REC_OBSOLETE_AUTHS customising switch to NO in the table PRGN_CUST. This correction is also important because it fixes runtime problems when releasing role transports, resulting from the correction in SAP Note 1614407. As a general rule, you should always run bulk transport sharing in the background.
Since the role menu has been adjusted, the PFCG role must now also be adjusted. To do this, go to the Permissions tab and select the Change Permissions Data button. If you are using Expert mode, make sure that the Alten Stand default is read and match with new data. Now the new suggested values for this external service are loaded. After you have maintained the PFCG role, you can generate the profile and insert it immediately.
Authorizations can also be assigned via "Shortcut for SAP systems".

When you save permission proposal values in transport orders, you will notice that generic entries are used instead of detailed BOMs. These generic entries mark all applications, for example, with TR*..
