As a business grows, ERP software, the centre of all business processes, grows automatically. By implementing new business structures and processes, the complexity of the SAP ERP system can greatly increase. For small in-house SAP teams, this is often a challenge, because in addition to technical and technical aspects for maintaining the operation of SAP systems, staff shortages and day-to-day operations represent additional hurdles. Key findings are: The use of Standard Support and Enterprise Support remains the same in German-speaking countries. Enterprise Support requires more information about the benefits. DSAG members are largely up-to-date with their ERP systems. Over half use the latest versions of the Enhancement Packages. DSAG Survey SAP SupportThe relationship between Standard Support and Enterprise Support is, as in previous years, almost balanced. Austria deviates here with a significantly stronger use of Enterprise Support. "In German-speaking countries, users deliberately choose a support model and stick to it. The value is stable over the last few years and the readiness to change is low," comments Andreas Oczko, DSAG's Executive Board Member Operations/Service & Support. Only two percent of the support experts surveyed rely on third-party providers. Without a maintenance contract, one percent of the participants will be paid.

Users can continue to purchase basic support services for SAP solutions and maintain system operations and availability. SAP Enterprise Support continues to be the SAP-recommended support level for customers moving to SAP Cloud powered by SAP HANA, which guarantees SAP innovation and reliability in hybrid scenarios.

The "Shortcut for SAP Systems" tool is an excellent tool for handling many tasks in SAP Support more easily and quickly.

SAP AMS is also effective in the event of staff shortages.
