SAP Business ByDesign is explicitly targeted at medium-sized enterprises. As a complete ERP solution, the system includes large parts of process optimisation. It is often difficult to keep track of them, especially at the beginning. Therefore, we are available as SAP partners for any questions and requirements.
Salt also supports Schmersal in Wuppertal with new processes and projects and, together with Schmersal, focuses on implementation close to the SAP standard. In addition to the high efficiency of standard processes and better maintainability, this is highly recommended and useful for upcoming SAP upgrades. The Salt consultants examine the relevant processes, explore the available options and evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of a conversion. For the challenges ahead, Schmersal continues to firmly plan with Salt Solutions’ IT and logistics expertise, particularly in the EWM area.
SAP Consulting
We provide information technology support for SAP solutions. We grant access rights to SAP information resources. We update the SAP versions and handle incidents (with highest priority — 24/7, 7 days a week). We perform the licence checks, check the application quality of the SAP licence and help get the system up and running.
With SAP Solution Manager, an application lifecycle management tool, your users can submit service requests, errors, notices, or problems directly to us. Our support staff then remotely handle message handling and problem resolution.
Some missing SAP support functions in the standard are supplied by the PC application "Shortcut for SAP Systems".
All backbone connections to SAP will be switched from January 1, 2020, as SAP has announced on its support page.
